John Franke and Matt Clifford obtained a defense verdict in a jury trial before Judge Kanatzar in Jackson County, Mo earlier this year on behalf of the firm’s client AMC Theatres. Plaintiff was a patron who was seriously injured as she was exiting a theater. She brought a claim alleging defective lighting and design. The jury rejected all of her claims, finding the AMC was not at fault, resulting in a defense verdict on all counts. Case No. 1416-CV08399.
