Olivia Almirudis Schneider
Associate
Olivia Almirudis Schneider is a dedicated and passionate associate in our Kansas City Office, practicing primarily in insurance defense, general civil litigation, and personal injury defense.
Olivia earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas School of Law. While in law school, Olivia served as an Articles Editor for the Kansas Journal of Law & Public Policy, President of Women in Law, Student Ambassador, and 1L SBA President. Olivia was an active student leader and earned the 1949 Leadership Award for her contributions to the law school. Olivia also learned a CALI in Business Planning Seminar, her university’s capstone corporate law course.
Olivia brings almost a decade of professional work experience to her practice and gained invaluable experience in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. Prior to law school, Olivia gained her Bachelor of Art’s degree in English with a Business Management Minor in three years summa cum laude from the University of the Incarnate Word. There, she was selected as a Kemper Scholar, an honor bestowed on 20 students in the United States for a three-year pre-professional mentorship and internship program, and won a variety of awards for accomplishments, including the two highest academic and leadership awards at her university: the CCVI Spirit Award and the Kappa Gamma Phi Medal.
Thereafter, she worked in the corporate sector and acquired her MBA from her alma mater, where she received a full scholarship as the university president’s Head Graduate Research Assistant for Strategic Planning. Olivia then served as the Director of Development & Marketing at nationally-recognized animal welfare nonprofit and earned national recognition for her lifesaving work during the pandemic, being named the 2020 Animal Game Changer.
As a first-generation attorney, daughter of a Mexican immigrant, and Texas native, Olivia proudly serves Spanish-speaking clients, ensuring they receive clear communication, trusted guidance, and confident representation in their preferred language.
Outside of practice, Olivia is an avid fitness enthusiast and trains for competitions and half marathons. She also enjoys serving as a PAIMI Disability Rights Center of Kansas Advisory Council Member. In her downtime, Olivia loves spending time with her family and beloved rescue dogs.
