Madison Vaughn is a dedicated and passionate associate in our Kansas City Office, practicing primarily in insurance defense, general civil litigation, and personal injury defense.

Madison earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Law. While in law school, Madison served as the Public Relations Chair of the Women’s Law Association and as a Student Ambassador. Madison participated in the Inaugural Class of the Missouri Attorney General’s Office Practicum, where she experienced her very first court appearance. Madison further honed her advocacy skills by participating in various competitions, including Negotiation, Client Counseling, and Mediation. Madison also earned Pro Bono Certificates for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 academic years for dedicating over twenty hours of community service work each year.
Madison gained valuable experience as an intern at the Missouri Attorney General’s Office and through her previous work as a law clerk at the Missouri Department of Transportation in their Project Development Section. Prior to her current role, Madison worked as an assistant counsel for the Missouri Department of Transportation, where she gained a variety of skills in litigation, contracts, and administrative law.
Madison is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, where she serves as Vice Chair for the Young Lawyer’s Section Membership/New Lawyer Committee, General Body Member of the Membership Committee, and is a graduate of the Bar Leadership Academy. Madison is also a member of the Association of Women Lawyers of Greater Kansas City and Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers, where she is a graduate of the Trial Academy.
Outside of practice, Madison may often be found at the Jewish Community Center of Kansas City (“The J”) taking a fitness class or working on the fitness floor. She also serves as a volunteer at the Single Mom KC in their Clothed with Dignity Boutique. In her downtime, Madison loves spending time with family, friends, and her cat, reading the newest thriller novel, or traveling around the United States or abroad.
