John Franke Obtains Favorable Decision in AAA Arbitration
02/28/2018John Franke represented an architect and his firm in a recent AAA arbitration claiming professional negligence and breach of contract, Pollard, et al v T***** Design Build, Inc.. #01-17-0002-0087. The case arose in Kansas and was arbitrated there. After days of testimony from multiple lay witnesses and numerous experts, the arbitrator returned an award far below the amount plaintiffs sought for damages. Significantly, the arbitrator denied plaintiffs’ claims for misrepresentation and statutory attorney’s fees.
