Michelle practices primarily in insurance defense, insurance coverage, and general civil defense.  Originally from Detroit, Michigan, and with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, she brings an engineer’s perspective and automotive knowledge to her practice.  Prior to joining Franke, Schultz & Mullen, Michelle represented several global automotive manufacturers in product liability, class action, and breach of warranty cases.  Michelle previously specialized in discovery, with an emphasis on large e-discovery project management.

When not at work, Michelle enjoys time spent with her husband and two children, officiating summer swim meets, and scrapbooking with friends.  She is a volunteer and kitten foster for K.C. Pet Project.
