Ashlyn Hancock is an associate in the Overland Park, Kansas office. Ms. Hancock is licensed to practice in Missouri, Kansas, and the Western District of Missouri. She practices in the areas of insurance defense, personal injury, and general civil litigation.

Ms. Hancock received her Juris Doctorate from The Ohio State University Moritz School of Law where she earned an award for the top grade in drafting international commercial documents. While in law school, Ms. Hancock clerked for Justice Michael P. Donnelly of the Ohio Supreme Court and interned with the OSU Office of Compliance and Integrity, assisting in policy development and drafting. Ms. Hancock also helped to update the Ohio Legal Research textbook as a research assistant for Assistant Dean Sara Sampson. Additionally, she served as a managing editor of the Ohio State Technology Law Journal, was the treasurer for the Intellectual Property Law Society, and a member of the Moritz Mediation Team.

Prior to law school, Ms. Hancock attended Missouri State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and her Bachelor of Science in Philosophy, as well as a Certificate in Conflict and Dispute Resolution.
