Mr. Mullen specializes in complex commercial litigation, personal injury, class action, wrongful death, bad faith, as well as complex insurance coverage matters. He has significant trial experience representing insurance companies in third-party insurance coverage disputes. Additionally, Mr. Mullen has significant national experience representing financial institutions in attorney general enforcement actions. Mr. Mullen is a frequent lecturer to bar associations, insurance companies and claims associations on insurance coverage disputes, bad faith litigation and fraud. Mr. Mullen has been named to Super Lawyers for 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 and has also been named to the Kansas City Business Journal's Best of Bar on numerous occasions. Mr. Mullen received his undergraduate degree from Missouri State University and his Juris Doctor from Loyola University. He is admitted to practice before the Missouri Supreme Court, Kansas Supreme Court, the United States District Court of Appeals for the Eighth and Tenth Circuits, the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri, the United States District Court for the District of Kansas, the United States District Court of Southern Texas, the United States District Court of Southern Wisconsin and Bar of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.
