Des'Aire Taylor is a dedicated associate in our Kansas City office, practicing primarily in insurance defense, insurance coverage, and general civil defense. Ms. Taylor’s multifaceted background has equipped her with a broad perspective on various facets of the law, making her a well-rounded attorney capable of handling a wide range of legal challenges.
 
Ms. Taylor earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri – Columbia, with an emphasis in alternative dispute resolution. While in law school, she served as the Note and Comment Editor of the Journal of Dispute Resolution. During her time on the Journal, she co-authored the State Legislative Update in 2023, demonstrating her dedication to staying up-to-date with the ever-changing legal landscape. In addition to her editorial role, Ms. Taylor honed her advocacy skills by participating in various competitions, including Mock Trial and Mediation. Prior to her current role, Ms. Taylor gained valuable experience as an intern at the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office and through her previous work as a law clerk for a personal injury firm in the Kansas City area.  
 
Beyond her legal pursuits, Ms. Taylor values quality time with family and friends, cultivating a balanced and fulfilling life beyond the courtroom.
