Mr. Baker earned his law degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. During law school, Mr. Baker interned for the United States District Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Missouri as well as the Jackson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
Upon graduating, Mr. Baker spent his first years in practice as a prosecutor in Christian and Platte Counties in Missouri. As a prosecutor, he handled a wide range of misdemeanor to felony criminal matters and boldly advocated for the rights of those affected by injustice in the courtroom.
Prior to Law School, Mr. Baker obtained his undergraduate degree in English at the University of Missouri – Kansas City and was a speech and debate teacher in Lees Summit.
