Cannezzaro Recieves 2018 Women's Justice Award
05/04/2018Nikki Cannezzaro has earned a 2018 Missouri Lawyers Weekly Women’s Justice Award. Now in its 20th year, the Women’s Justice Awards program celebrates the success of exceptional women in the legal field and honors those who are helping move the needle in their communities. Ms. Cannezzaro was selected in the Litigation Practitioner category, which highlights women who have made their careers in the courtroom. This is Ms. Cannezzaro's second Women's Justice Award. She was first recognized as a woman lawyer under the age of 40 who withing the first 10 years of practice made a difference in the justice system or the profession and appeared on a path toward even greater accomplishment.
Ms. Cannezzaro is a very aggressive trial lawyer. She is certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Ms. Cannezzaro has tried numerous cases to juries ranging from products and premise liability cases to multiple fatality trucking/automobile accidents, obtaining favorable results for the firm's clients in each case. Ms. Cannezzaro additionally has significant experience in bad faith, vexatious refusal and insurance coverage litigation. She has been elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), a national organization of experienced trial attorneys and judges, and currently serves as Secretary for the Western Missouri / Eastern Kansas Chapter.
