Suzanne R. Bruss practices in the areas of insurance defense, insurance
coverage and general civil litigation.
Ms. Bruss practiced insurance defense law in Phoenix, Arizona for eight
years prior to joining Franke, Schultz & Mullen. While in practice
in Arizona, Ms. Bruss obtained favorable results as lead trial counsel
in several large personal injury matters. Ms. Bruss also handled
insurance coverage and construction defect matters. Ms. Bruss relocated
to the Kansas City area in 2006 and continues her career at Franke, Schultz & Mullen.
Ms. Bruss received her Juris Doctorate from Drake University Law School
in Des Moines, Iowa. During law school, she served as a judicial
extern to The Honorable George W. Bergeson of the Fifth Judicial District
of Iowa. Ms. Bruss received her undergraduate degree from Iowa
State University in Ames, Iowa in English and Speech Communication. While
at Iowa State University, Ms. Bruss participated in the Freshman Honors
Program and served as a law clerk for Story County Legal Aid.
