G. Michael Archer - Member

Mr. Archer is an aggressive, determined trial attorney who has tried over 130 jury trials, criminal and civil.  His undergraduate education commenced with an Air Force ROTC Scholarship for four years.  He accelerated his college courses gaining his undergraduate degree in two and one half years and completed his Master’s in Business Administration in the last year and half of his scholarship.  After graduating as a “Distinguished Military Graduate”, an award only given to the top five percent any graduates nationally, he was commissioned an officer and went on to become a military pilot. Later, he became a forward air controller working with Special Forces.

After leaving the military, he completed law school and commenced working for the St.  Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.  Over the fifteen years he was there, he prosecuted serious felonies including homicides and vehicular accidents.  He was also responsible for training police officers in the investigation of vehicular homicides involving intoxicated drivers.

He also trained other prosecutors as to effectively presenting a vehicular homicide to a jury.
           
Since leaving the Prosecutor’s Office, Mr. Archer has focused almost exclusively in the defense of personal injury actions. He has defended numerous automobile claims with outstanding results.  With the benefit of his M.B.A., he has also represented business interest in the areas of personal injury and business torts.  In the civil arena, he has continued to litigate cases up to and including presenting them to a jury.
